1. **Exploring the Old Town**: We wandered through the narrow cobblestone streets and admired the well-preserved traditional houses. The picturesque setting of Varousi provides excellent opportunities for photography. Capture the timeless beauty of the architecture and the vibrant street scenes.

2. **Varousi Square (Plateia Varousi)**:We visited the main square. This central square serves as a focal point in the Old Town. It’s surrounded by cafes and tavernas, making it a perfect spot to relax, enjoy a meal, and soak in the local atmosphere.

3. **Churches and Monuments**: We checked out notable churches like Agios Dimitrios and Agios Nikolaos. Explored historical monuments such as the Clock Tower.

4. **Virvos museum**. Also, in Varousi, on the preserved house of Kostas Virvos, the House of Trikala Creators is expected to operate. It is a musical museum that will showcase digital works of Virvos, Kaldaras, Samoladas, Kolokotronis, and Mitropanos

6. **Trikala Fortress (Fortress of Justinian)**: We took a stroll to the nearby fortress for panoramic views of the city and surrounding areas. The fortress dates back to the Byzantine era and is believed to have been built during the reign of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I in the 6th century. It served as a defensive structure to protect the city.
